This is not only an authentic race car of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, but it has tremendous race history. This car was successfully raced in the 89-90 seasons, one of which Dale won the Winston Cup Championship. Earnhardt's crew surprised Dale when they had the 'Ironhead' nickname welded on the gas tank of this car for all the other drivers to see.
This car has been restored to full racing specifications and was featured in a race museum until the current owner acquired the car. On October 31, 2004, the car was featured in a special parade lap prior to the Nextel Cup Race at Atlanta Motor Speedway honoring the 15th anniversary of Dale's victory in the Atlanta 500.
